Meditation has been practiced since antiquity in numerous religious traditions in the pursuit of enlightenment and self-realisation, and in more modern times, it has been the subject of extensive research that has consistently highlighted significant health benefits including a reduction in anxiety and stress, depression and pain, and the cultivation of greater peace, insight and wellbeing.
It isn’t about becoming a ‘better’ person; it’s about developing a healthy sense of perspective and awareness. It’s also not about trying to turn off your thoughts or feelings; rather, you’re learning to observe them without judgement, which bestows peaceful acceptance and greater understanding of yourself and of life.
Lynn has taught meditation and mindfulness for almost thirty years. Her approach is not anchored in any particular religious doctrine, but rather draws inspiration from a gamut of various meditational styles from all over the world to bring a peaceful yet powerful state of effortless intuitive flow.
